It has been a while since i have played but i am looking at getting into it again. I have quite few Marvel VS decks. A street fighter deck and quite a few batteltech decks. I think that is all. But i was wonder what other games you guys play and if any of you are in the Denver metro area. I would love to get together and play.

I play Yugioh.But the thing about card games,is that is hard to find other people to play with in your town.In the anime convention in here there was a yugioh room.I regret not have taken my deck,specially when the tough crosses my head.Next year,its time to duel!

I agree it is hard to find other people to play with. I used to play with my best friends in CA and then i moved more north in CA and could not get together to play as much. Now i live in CO. If anyone in the Denver area plays lets hook up.

I used to play MTG occasionally. But a few of my friends who played moved away so my decks haven't been touched in years. The GF is mildly interested in the game, so I might try to convert her! :twisted:

Card works well for families. If you have small children around your home, holidays and rainy days get pretty boring. Without some form of abuse, parents can easily end up with a handful of complaints. In addition, some children get bored thinking about strenuous activities to pass the time. You definitely do not want to run them in a room filled with expensive furniture and paint murals on your living room wall.

My I forgot all about Star Trek TCG. I played that back in the day. I think that was one of my first card games. My parents bought me and my brother a box to split.

Pokemon - had a Sabrina deck that didn't really have competitors back then
LotR
WoW
Yugioh - although only virtually, on GBA-DS
Various games with Hungarian (commonly known as Tell-) Cards

My parents bought me a starter deck and thought they were just getting me some Star Trek playing cards. Unfamiliar I was with the concept of TCGs I kinda looked through them, tossed them off to the side for 3 months, then started reading the instruction book and though "hey, this might be kinda fun"

The cards are set to different values and have different functions, such as Lady used in two ways. Can not be used during the discard to prevent the next player to get the discard pile, or you can use as an additive to clean group of a hundred bonus points. If a player is in possession of a lady, when your turn is over, it counts as 500 points in a single player or team. The Lord has more than twenty points, and the highest suit card. Bad, like Lady blocks the next player to take the discard pile. Villain point of view, the value is zero, and the only way it can happen to play to lose.

I've dabbled in quite a few games over the years (MTG, Star Wars, pokemon). I still play a bit of Lord of the Rings TCG with friends. But the big one for me is Decipher's Star Trek CCG, which is still alive and well! (head over to www.trekcc.org if you're interested!) Love that game and have stacks and boxes all over my home office.

There is a great program out there called Lackey CCG that has LOTS of plugins for various games. Paired with Skype it is really cool for playing games when you don't have folks near you. I used it just the other night to play LotR TCG with a high school buddy.

None anymore. I used to play Magic: the gathering until I lost my card collection (around 1,400 cards) and the local comic/card shop went out of business. Though I don't play anymore, I do have a small collection of Star Trek and Marvel Vs. CCG cards.
