I know that occasionally people post this sort of news on the boards, and when it was my turn I wanted to do it too.
I asked my girlfriend of nearly five years to marry me at about 1.30AM Christmas morning. She must have been extra sleep deprived because she said yes. We've been together through some really great times and some pretty bad, but she has always been with me. I was unemployed for two years and she stayed with me even then. I've wanted to marry her since the first date we went on, and now I'm finally going to get the chance.
Just wanted to share my holiday joy with you all. I hope your Christmases were as good as mine.
