Nothing fancy here but found a photo of what was probably my very first attempt at customising a figure. I repainted Chase into a made up ThrottleCON I called Axle. Was just a silly fan character I had as a kid and Throttlebots were a good starting point for customising cos they were cheap, easy to get hold off and their simplicity and limited articulation meant repainting took hardly any time at all.

Silver trim along the sides of the car mode which become the arms was inspired by KARR from Knight Rider in his second episode.

Sorry the photos are blurry but I didn't have a good camera at the time. For some reason he looks a bit bluer in the montage pic than the correct purple he appears more in the Throttlebot group pic.




I think he got sold along with the other Throttlebots. I wonder if he's still out there somewhere or been thrown away like garbage.
