Voodoo Prime

Postby reece » Fri May 05, 2006 12:46 am

Hello everyone,
I have had this finished for about a year now and had some spare time so I thought I would share it with you. I call him Voodoo Prime. He is a knock off from Big Lots that I hand painted. Hope you all like him. :)

he needs some more of those crazy colors in beast mode. someone named "Voodoo Prime" should have crazy voodoo colors in thier hair and stuff. beads and feathers and crap. :) well, probably it would look better if that wasn't painted on, but sculpted or parts added.

Dude... I seriously get bad vibes off this one. Careful...
(And yes I am speaking absolutely sincere.)

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. :) Stays pretty crazy around my place these days so it's taking me longer to get replies back.

Shade, He kind of creeps me out too. I have to keep my eye on him sometimes.....or is he keeping his eyes on me

RavageX-9, Those are great ideas you have to set him apart, I have been looking in the crafts department at beads and such. I will probably put your ideas to use on him soon. Thank you.

Darth Zax, Thanks for the compliment! I think he turned out pretty well. If I could do him over again I would try to spray paint him and probably primer him first or something, the plastic quality of him being a knockoff and such was very poor when it came to him actually holding onto the paint that I put on. It likes to flake off.

Again, thanks everyone :D

 Yeah Darth Zax, It is supposed to be megatrons head on a stick!

That head was something I made while I was at work a year ago and I put the wires into it the same day I took the pictures. It was made out of some half-dried up patching plaster and a small phillips screwdriver to sculpt. I think it came out halfway decent myself. Hadn't ever tried to sculpt with anything before.

I would not recommend using the stuff for anything serious because it took it a good 5 months to dry solid enough for paint and it is still today mushy in the center. I thought it made for a pretty funny weapon though... :)
