Motto: "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings to randomly click things in the Admin Panel to see what it breaks."
My little creation has taken the final step in articulation evolution.

Rather than upgrading my first version of Gore (as he'd already received an upgrade) I started from scratch with another Stalker.

The first part I did was give him articulation in the shoulders. The existing holes where the arms originally attached were filled in and using double ended ball joints from BM Scavenger I was able to make him flap like a chicken. :P

Secondly came the arms. His last upgrade saw him get better arm articulation. I went with a different style this time opting for Gundam joints allowing the arm to pivot at the top joint above the elbow and the bottom joint below the elbow. Call him double jointed.

The hands were simple. Unlike the previous version though I cut the whole original hand out rather than leaving the bottom section. Once that was done, a nice pair of Gundam fists.

After that came the legs. I thought this would be a pretty easy job as i'd seen other guys do it.

HA! Damn near made me give up on the project. I snapped one set of ball joints and the others broke as well but I was able to repair them and find out what the problem was in the process.

I again used Gundam parts with the original Stalker legs being cut off, the resulting hole wasn't filled in as it was needed for leg movement. I added the ball joints into the existing hip.

The top of the legs were replaced with the necessary Gundam parts.

Because of the addition of the ball joints I had to cut away a bigger area at his feet. I made up this silly little wooden shoes that fill in the gaps and make him more stable.

Once all that was done I had to tackle the weapons. The horns are from a Zoids Elephander. They were cut about half way and made so the front half can be detached and made into a sword or spear of sorts.

The guns are from Armoured Core. I found them on HobbyLink Japan's website, wasn't sure how they'd work so I grabbed a couple of sets and they worked out great!

The missiles were just some knock off that I found some time ago.

I added the killed Autobot count on the hand guns because of I loved the idea of it on the upcoming Titanium Megatron, I didn't like that he hadn't crossed them off as kills so I took that upon myself.

And that's that. I guess you all want pics now huh? Well I haven't finished a proper gallery yet, and rather than flooding the forums with a bunch of pics i'll save everyone a heap of time ....

Oh and Gore III is the one with the black weapons and highlights. The previous version is the one with the green weapons and red highlights.

Enjoy! :D

Absolutely awesome. I still love the red more than the black, but the black does look great. And a perfect use of weapons. The horns look like they were BUILT for Gore, and Armored core weapons rock. A lot of the rifles/cannons I have from an old AC series I use with my Alternators, and they work perfectly.

Great job with the articulation. Still need to put Gundam hands on mine, though I doubt I'll ever go as far as you did with the articulation. Totally loving it. :)

Yeah, they should be more hidden, they just sneak out now and then. :P

I honestly don't know when it comes to this mold. There's a fair bitof detailing on it. They COULD be windows.

With a lot of difficulty. :?

Shoulders weren't so bad. Double ended ball joints I pinched off a BM Scavenger.

Hips were a little harder. Lot of cutting involved to get the Gundam parts to fit. Basically hacked out the middle, put them in, putted up around them, reinforced them as much as I could. Then with the legs I cut off about half the original leg and added the top half of the gundam legs.

The biggest problem it turns out, was the top part of the legs were slightly thicker. BEcause of this the flap that covers the back of the legs wasn't closing properly due to their "support struts" and that was putting pressure on the hip joints which resulted in them continually snapping. Shaved down the support struts a little and everything fitted nicely.
