It's too bad he wasn't made this way to begin with! Darn licensing!

Very well done. The only problem I see with it is that there is a gap along the leading edge of the door and the front fender. I am guessing that there is an identical gap on the driver?s side as well.

Very well done! Besides the gap mentioned above. This is how I would vision Sideswipe as an alt in his true G1 form.

He lives up to his name, all right. Hrm, what's he doing there with Skyfire over a dusty Smokescreen? I must've forgotten that episode. And is he using the classic Alt Prowl lambo door mod, or did the reshelling result in a different means being used? I felt fine accepting Sideswipe as a Viper, but you've shown here just how good an alternator based on the G1 form can look.

You know, since you used the Prowl mold you could use the same door on the arms mod that I came up with to make it look even more MP.

Check out the old Wildrider and breakdown galleries ive got here for referances.

Anyhoo, great job there man. He turned out spectacular. I hope to possibly see you do a G1 accurate Sunstreaker next although i'm sure it'll be a bit more difficult.

I actually think he looks better without that mod, TFMaster. While the mod may make him ?look? more G1 accurate, this actually works better and looks better from an aesthetic and functional view point while still maintaining the essence of the original.

holy crap! I didn't even realize where the doors went the first time gawking at this thing. That is truely most impressive. And as far as G1 accurate doors goes, if you look at the toon, he doesn't have them next to his arms anyways, just the toy, so this is just as G1 accurate without having to remove and reattach the doors! I whole heartedly approve. Man, this ranks right up there with Jaf's Masterpiece Jazz and Wheeljack for favorite Alternator to Masterpiece reshell.
till all are one.
