the actual title should be: Custom G1 Onslaught Inspired Wreckage.
So what happened? I bought Wreckage just to test out some dirt/mud techniques. His original color pallet was just horrifying.
I was kind of unsatisfied with his small head. it accentuated the difference of scale with the other transformers.
So just for fun I switched his head with landmine... and it kind of grew on me . Wreckage looked a lot better proportion-wise in comparison with the other transformers... and landmine doesn't look bad as well.
So... somewhere on my desk there is a G1 Onslaught just standing around. And suddenly it hit me that he had a lot of similarities with my new Wreckage/landmine spin-off.
They are both army vehicles, their heads looked the same (kind of...) and lot of wheels.
So it was decided, the wreckage /landmine becomes Onslaught!

the new palette is Army green, navy blue , Black, Silver, purple, orange Eyes and light & dark Brown were combined for the mud

This is the original state of the vehicle mode
I used glossy paint on one mud color so it keeps having a wet look, Now it looks like he just drove through mud a minute ago.
I used a small sponge to do the mud spatter and decals for the decepticon logos

Well they don't look exactly the same but they could be cousins

Hope you like
Now I gotta go check on Longarm who got stuck into a vat of Isoprophyl
PS: In case you wonder, I never enhanced the orange in his eyes with photoshop. this is how bright it is.
