OK I was at Big Lots the other day and saw some KO constructicons 2-packs. The colors were off, faces horrible, and no connector pieces were included other the forearms for Scavenger and Bonecrusher. At the time, I passed on getting them. But for some reason i couldn't get them out of my head. Then, while driving back home from a friends house it hit me. Use them as parts for the Devastator I've wanted to make. Get the CMDW leg, head, and up coming hands to replace the missing pieces. All I would need is a Wing Chest piece and I'm in business. As i mulled the idea over in my head, i hit on the idea of "I wonder if i can improve on the original design Classics style". I know a lot of people have done A "Classics" Devastator custom over the years but every one I've seen has, while really good work most of the time,not looked right to me. So I'm going to try may had at one to see of I can make one that I'm satisfied with.

OK here is my plan so far(still in progress)

Scrapper - Arms and upper legs from Cybertron Breakdown. Replace Breakdown's wheels with something a little more fitting and sculpt a new head

Mixmaster - hollow out head cavity to hive more room and sculpt a new head for him. Arms, I'm not sure yet. Upper legs and and waist, thinking about clocker.

Long Haul - Still working that one out. The hard part is figuring out how to add articulation to the legs and keeping the same Devastator hip connections. ant ideas will be welcome

Hook - Arms, I'm not sure yet. Upper legs and and waist, Energon Strongarm looks promising. Again Sculpt a new Head for him.

Bonecrusher and Scavenger are the two I'm having the most problem with. Caterpillar tracks for legs is really throwing me off in the planning stage. Not really sure where to start with that one.

So thats my plan so far. I'll keep this updated as work progresses and post pics as soon as I can.
