Repainted Rodimus Minor

:BOT: So, I got really excited when I saw the first images of the new animated Rodimus figure, but when I got the guy home I realized how bad the paint apps really were. With that in mind I decided he needed a new look. I went off of the IDW comic book line for inspiration. I hope you enjoy! :BOT:

Definetly an improvement over the original, awesome job!

I noticed that you've also modded his bow into a pair of pistols. Do they stay in place when he's in car mode or are they just positioned there for the picture? If they do stay in place would please post pics of how it works?

Thanks,
MCutter.

They do stay in place. I saw an earlier thread where someone else had come up with the idea. I just used their example and drilled out a hole on each of the inner shoulder panels the size of the handle of the crossbow. Once you cut your crossbow in half and remove the upper bow thingy they should fit right into place. Just make sure you test the placement before you drill the holes. I luckily had extra pieces since my first attempt failed miserably as I soaked the figure in brake fluid overnight and it dissolved. I had to buy a new Rodimus :-(
