Posted here because I had no idea where else.
Has anyone tried making 3 3/4" scale Pretender shells from any figures currently on the market? I want to try my hand at custom-painting some Autobot Pretenders (Metalhawk, Phoenix, Lander and Diver) but I've got no idea what figures to use. Has anyone got any ideas?

Preferably I'd like them all to be from the same line of figures, like G.I. Joe or Marvel Legends or something, but I don't know how well the characters match. I'm leaning towards Marvel, because I'm sure there must be a Wolverine out there that matches Phoenix... but which one?

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
