CHMS G1 HOBBY GHOST STARSCREAM

I've never bought any KO's before, but I've seen video reviews of the version that came out before this one. It looked really nice.

Is this the same quality or better?

Is the clear-plastic brittle and will crack/break easy?

Anyone have this figure and can comment on it? (The newest and 3rd version of the fig G1 Hobby Ghost that just came out a month or so ago)

What would a legit vendor to buy this from?

With any Ko there is always that feeling that is in fact a KO. The plastic will be good quality but not up to par with say Hasbro or Takara. There has been a few different versions of the CHMS seekers and they increase in qulaity with each run. I have the v2 rainmakers as well as the v2 Skywarp and IMO there great. There are some very minor paint flaws( overspray, mis-sprays) but In terms of quality it's damn close to hasbro.

In terms of being brittle or cracking..I wouldn't play catch with it or try and use it as a substitute hokcey puck. As a rule of thumb with any KO figure, be gentle. Don't force parts to move when they don't want to etc etc...

In regards to a reliable vendor, If your in the States Acestoystore is great. I've ordered tons of stuff from them and they are fantastic. Located in california they package well and ship fast.
If your overseas or close to japan then try Kotoys.com.

I dunno...it's not bad, but the version I was floppy as hell. Version II the joints are better, but there are a lot of stress marks in the platic where there are pins. And the original one isn't all that expensive these days. So...it's not junk, but it's not as good as the real one.

he could get the KO of the actual clear ghost starscream. there a 100% accurate KO of the offical ghost starscream (solid grey thighs+chrome launchers ect) and the quality on thats amazing. its pretty much a 100% repro of an offical item quality and everything

Yea, I've heard that version1 CHMS was floppy(softer plastic). Version2 is really nice and there are youtube videos showing it.

Version 3 which is pictured here is supposedly made of even better plastic. (I think the same as the new CHMS Ghost Thundercracker/Skywarp set).

If I like this, I'll likely get the CHMS Ghost Thundercracker/Skywarp set!

The CMS Seekers I have a;; have messed up faces (eyes and mouth) and it's tough as HELL to get the fists out of the forearms. There's also issues with tightness in the joints.

But, for KOs, not bad.
