Re: KO toys seeker QC question
I have a few of them and ordered some more. They're decent, but not as good as the official Seekers I've got. Some claim differently, so mayeb I was lucky with my official Seekers.
1) They have messed up faces. It's not TOO bad, but the eyes and mouth are kinda crap. Have silver sharpies on hand.
2) Sometimes the feet don't fold out all the way.
3) The hands are a BITCH to get out of the arms. No fun.
4) The nosecone of my Sunstorm needed some sanding before it could properly fold into the rectangle peice for bot mode. Sanding worked here, but my silver chromed Seeker has the same problem and there's no fixing it.
5) The elbows are REALLY stiff on some of mine and I won't even try to move them least they break.
6) They are not compatable with that Cornation set released a while back with the crown and cape.
So, all in all, decent for knock offs. I definately WOULD recommend Sunstorm or Air Warrior. Despite these flaws I bought even more what with KO Toy's going out of business sale making them even more reasonable in price.
HOWEVER, this related ONLY to the CHMS Seekers. The older Kold Seekers aren't quite so good. My Klear Seeker just broke AGAIN after a year of having him and never touching him. I bought three more of these since I'm a stubborn fool, but I can't recommend them to anymore. The glow in the dark are based off this mold and they are reported to be even MORE fragile. If you buy the klear Seekers I recommand getting the three pack. It's not much more expancive and you get spare parts. You may need them.

Re: KO toys seeker QC question
I have several of them, so I'm going to list each one and all their issues, also, overall, ALL of them have very sloppy tin paint apps.
Henkei Skywarp:
-Torso area broke off completely, the pin holding all 3 pieces together was either wider than required or simply carelessly installed.
-Loose left wrist joint.
-No silver paint on left missile launcher cap.
Henkei ThunderCracker:
-Loose left wrist joint.
-The hinges holding the wings were swaped, so I had to forcibly remove the pins to install them correctly, needless to say, the wings are now all floppy specially in alt mode.
Henkei Ghost Starscream:
-Has almost the same issue as my Skywarp at the torso, it isn't completely broken yet, but it has a bunch of very nasty cracks and you can flip out the little flap with tabs that are supposed to tab into the legs in alt mode (this part cannot be lifted at all on an original toy) Thanks to this issue, the left leg doesn't completely tab into place correctly, so the left wing never tabs into place neither.
-Has the worst paint out of all my CHMS seekers, very faint and misaligned.
-Cracks and stress marks around some pin joints.
-The joint that goes from the torso to the canopy has a wider/bigger pin and doesn't colapse properly in robot mode.
Black Chrome Seeker:
-Very stiff joints.
-Chrome quality is terrible, it came all scuffed out of the box.
Sunstorm:
-Loose left wrist joint.
-A few stress marks around some pin joints.
