I'm interested as Twintwist was my first ever Transformers figure, but these look a little bland. Unless they include the pullback feature then I'd rather they were a bit more adventurous witht the designs.

With all the Wreckers love happening right now http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/the-wreckers-whats-your-neo-classics-line-up-t88096.php can we expect every 3rd party player and their Mum getting in on this one?

IGear have their Impactor homage on the cards and FansProject have their Broadside homage in prototype phase (almost).
Throw in a Warbot and a City Commander and we are well on our way to a 3rd party Wreckers line-up!

Im clearing my display cabinet for a Wreckers display shelf! :grin:

I tweeted them recently with reference to any prototype photos or potential release dates... nothing!

No reply at all. Not even sure they got any further than some concept art?

Disapointing if nothing comes of this because they do look pretty cool and very fitting as the homages they represent. :???:

look pretty nice, but they'll have to be really cheap to compete with other items where I like the look, and characters depicted better. Still, the heads are very cool, as is the hammer weapon.

They look fantastic, but I've been more interested in collecting toys of characters that appeared in the show...

My collecting rules have been broken a few time in the last couple of months and I'm tempted to break them again #-o

I'm probably posting in the wrong place to be talked out of buying them :lol:

not at all, if you think they won't fit in your collection, then don't get them. I personally think they look well worth the money, but they're certainly very similar. I can see how some might find them unnecessary.

It's not that they won't fit; in fact they could fit quite nicely. The price is another really good thing about them and lots of people buying this might just show other 3P companies that they should drop their prices a little.

I might end up pre-ordering and waiting to see how my finances work out closer to release.
