Today the Mach 5 Facebook page announced their second toy, a remold of their Gauntlet toy, called Piston. Piston is an homage to the Generation 1 Triggercon Crankcase.

looks okay, but like Ironfist, I'm not keen on the main colour of the alt mode. Fisitron is too white, I'd prefer a more tan colour, and this guy is far too light a grey. Crankcase was dark, like a comic-book black.

I'd like a Crankcase homage, but this body has far too quickly engrained itself on me as distinctly Ironfist and not Crankcase, so at $60 I'll certainly be passing.

have they given us a size yet? admittedly it does look like it'll be a small deluxe sort of size, but I could understand them asking this for a voyager-ish sized guy.

still wouldn't pay it, like.
from what we're seeing so far, I'd pay $40 tops for either of them. Something more along the lines of the seemingly far more complex Mech Ideas Jumpstarters would be far more palatable.
