That's just the Art Appreciation special cover, should not have any bearing or reflection on the story!

I know Va'al. I'm just sad they chose one that has my favorite predacon and my favorite fictional character in an homage to my favorite piece of art featuring my favorite animal and it has nothing to do with the issue at all. And no, ghost Bumblebee is not a suitable replacement no matter how interesting a concept it is.

That is.. an unfortunate and extremely particular combination of bummers.
That makes a lot more sense and I'm going to go with it being correct. I should not post before adequate caffeine intake.Va'al wrote:ScottyP wrote:On the MTMTE cover it looks like Tarn's hand on the left, but is that a gun on the right or is it Whirl giving Megs a staredown? It looks like a closed fist, specular to the hand on the left. Look at the 'air vent' pattern on the thumb and the screw like thing - they both appear on each.

So the "writing action" thing is your taste, I'll leave that alone - but what solicits have been lies? Of course solicits over-hype and do so often, they're trying to sell these things. What are they gonna say, "well this one is a quiet, mostly non-eventful build up to an issue in a couple months, check back then", or "just wait and buy the trade"? Gotta temper expectations when reading solicits and such since they're designed hype. But lies? I would like to be informed where outright factual statements were made dishonestly in solicits.Randomhero wrote:I'm really curious if there will even be a one on one fight with them. MTMTE's solicites lie like a cheap rug to throw you off and honestly Roberts has a lot of problems when it comes to writing action. Expectations are going to be high.
I've been waiting for this since Trailbreaker's death. I hope Megatron goes through the entire DJD with extreme prejudice, saving Tarn for last. I also hope Roberts doesn't cop out and have someone else interfere in the fight. They should fight to the death, regardless of who lives and dies. And I want Rodimus back into the main story. I just thought of this. I know Roberts is more creative than this, so it won't happen, but what if the famous scene from TF:TM was repeated here, where Megatron was about to finish off Tarn and Rodimus interferes, causing Tarn to use Rodimus as a shield and get the drop on Megatron?
What if he kills Tarn and the act of taking another life reawakens his killer instinct? He then takes over as leader of the DJD, and starts hunting Autobots?Crosscheck wrote:this better not lead us down the road of Megatron becoming a Decepticon again
No words needed for this one. Except maybe that One-eyed monsters pop up everywhere the Baroness goes!
