So after about a year of having my LCS owner tell me I should check out Cobra: Volume 1 (the one with Chuckles going all Jason Bourne and the Tomax/Xamot special), I finally did. It was excellent. I grabbed the trade that follows it and can't wait to read it this weekend.

I don't want to read all of the IDW Joe stuff. There's quite a bit and the standard fare tacticool military ARAH kind of stuff isn't appealing. But anything like Cobra Vol. 1 sounds like a winner. Since this is now technically TF continuity as well, that helps a bit too.

Joe fans, hit me up with your recommendations based on this info if you can. I'd much appreciate it
