My kids are just now getting into Transformers and we're making our way through the NA cartoon series quickly. What are recommendations on how to watch the Japanese/Takara continuation of season 4? Prefer the best quality available, and don't mind if it's English dub only as my kids are learning Japanese. Where can I purchase or obtain copies of the collection? I've looked on amazon but no luck. TIA!

Seriously, I'd highly recommend Transformers Masterforce. It's a great series that have strong throwbacks to Mazinger Z, U.F.O Robo Grendizer (Goldorak) and the likes.

You're in luck. There is an English dub available for the complete series! The dub may suck, but your kids will have a blast!
Have a eBay link. The price is also reasonable for 52 episodes on DVD.

There is also the complete collection of ALL the Japanese continuity (including Masterforce I think) but it's in Japanese only (with English subs I assume.) Relatively cheap.

Amazing, this is just what I was looking for. Looks like this was released specifically for NA so I imagine no issues playing on a NA DVD player. Thanks again!
