Dino cassettes?
Dear experts,
I'm now watching Call of the Primitives and Soundwave ejects two cassettes, a Ceratosaurus and a Stegosaurus. Who are these guys? Damn, I thought I have all the toy cassettes, apparently not!

That one part where they ejected were their only toon appearance. They didn't even appear in the rest of the episode.
And if you have all of the cassettes, I assume you also have Squalkbox. I forget what the two component cassettes are called, but the big parrot and the big ape that combine.

Oh, do you have Raindance?
Squawktalk and Beastbox become Squawkbox
Grand Slam and Raindance become Slam Dance
Never in cartoon though. GS and RD made a very brief Marvel comics appearance though.

Witch cassettes do you have? Because if you didnt know about these 2 then you might not know about the one's that came out after them like the Decepticon cassettes combiners Squawtalk and Beastbox that form Squawkbox or their Autobot counterparts.

I don't know how often these guys pop up on E-Bay or even how much they go for, but I belive I've read it's a whole bunch.

That's the pair. I wouldn't mind having a Squalktalk myself, he looks pretty impressive.
I bet Bonecrusher27 is regretting saying he had all of the cassettes now.

They are very expensive. I believe last month all four were up, incomplete, and starting bid was in the $200 range.
I have one of them, Graphi, the 'dactyl or pteradon, mine came MIB complete, and I had to pay...you may want to sit down first...$400. And that was from a friend!!!
That's why I do not yet own all 4 of them.

I figure about 1 a year is fine...

Spending money doesn't make you a devoted collector, it just makes you carefree with money. I just always wanted them, and they are a rarity, like the individually sold headmasters, etc., etc.

Thanks for the replies guys! Yes you're right, I don't have Squawkbox. But I do believe I have Slamdance. They're all in the storeroom. I keep fantasising about finding all my G1 toys, putting them on a table, and then photographing.

4 eh?
Squalktalk.
Beastbox.
The four really expensive ones mentioned by Duke of Luns.
Someone's trying to make themselves feel better by miscounting.

He said he didn't have Overkill and Slugfest either, so that'd be four.
But I don't blame him for not tracking down the four Japanese exclusive dudes, cause A: They're supposed to be extremely expensive. and B: They're Japanese, and may hold no nastalgic value, as he may focus only on American released Transformers.
Am I right on B? I'm just curious, cause my brother grew up in the G1 era, and while he has nastalgia for some of the first three season characters, doesn't really understand why I want some of the Japanese figures.
