Saber Prime wrote:To be fair, how offten do we ever see Bulkhead's alt mode when it's not actully him? Just in that first episode then we don't see and millitary vehicles anymore. Why does a repair bot transform into a millitary vehicle in the first place?
Bumblebee and Prowl took on the fourms of Police vehicles. Technically speaking Bumblebee was an every day car but he did happen to scan Captain Fanzone's car with the attachable siren that makes him a poicle vehicle.
Optimus is a fire truck.
And Ratchet is a ambulance.
All the vehicles scanned are typicle seach and rescue vehicles except for Bulkhead who has an alt mode useually scaned by the likes of Decepticon war machines. This is highly odd both as an alt mode in general and for his character sence he was the one Autobot who actully WANTED to be a repair bot.
Bulkhead is an exception, unless he's one of those paramilitary or police SWAT vans, so we can ignore that one, as well as Jazz getting a normal sports car altmode. In comparison, it's hard not to notice a HEMTT in a city.
Saber Prime wrote:Higher than who? Optimus? No as stated in the series Prime is their rank not their name so Optimus and Sentinel are the same rank.
They may be of the same rank, but then, this is the Elite Guard, perceived to be the highest ranking Autobots.
Saber Prime wrote:No no no, Jazz was easy to convince that some rules were jaked up. Like the one about staying clear of Organics. On any account Jazz is the one good Elite Guard Member we've seen on the show, you can insult the others all you want but Jazz is awsome!
Jazz is one of my favourites too, a little hard to slag off.
Saber Prime wrote:Ultra Magnus hasn't had to bail ANYONE out of ANYTHING EVER. He's only used his Thor like powers ONCE in the whole series and that was when he first appeared on Earth. The only other time he left the ship he nearly got the snot beat out of him by Starscream because he wasn't prepaired and actully thought there weren't any Decepticons untill Starscream showed up.
First he had to lower his hammer to push back the Dinobots who tried to attack Sentinel Prime. Then, as the drones at the Sumdac Systems factory were running riot, he ran over a few just as they were about to attack them.
Saber Prime wrote:Sentinel Prime does not think "humans" are dumb, he thinks "organics" are slimy evil creatures who will burn him alive from the inside with their ozzy goo.
Maybe Sentinel Prime just doesn't like organics (humans included), but then he also made some insulting comments on stage before a human audience in Return of the Headmaster.
Saber Prime wrote:You lost me, they both something, their heads.
And Sentinel Prime, his arm, though that was in battle.
Saber Prime wrote:No... no it wasn't. That was just kinda random considering most of your complants are from that episode anyway it's more like too much said. You really didn't need to list this at all.
That's the one episode where the Elite Guard doesn't show up well at all. It's listed on the TF Wiki, with all those instances mentioned.
Saber Prime wrote:I have no idea what you mean by "in the right place" the fragment was in a remote controll and could be used on any Cybertronian it was pointed at.
It ended up in the remote control of Master Disaster, who used him merrily to fix those races.
Saber Prime wrote:He was not the only Autobot, you forgot about Omega Supreme who was not a member of the EG.
Omega Supreme is a tough one to talk about, especially when he was merely a ship in the first season, and was revived a lot later in the second, and was the last to be transported by the Space Bridge, as it became unstable.
'Longarm Prime' actually revealed his identity as a double agent. That other doublespy never did...well...almost.
There was no other doublespy. You're talking about Wasp, he wasn't a spy he was fraimed by Shockwave/Longarm.[/quote]Not Wasp, but the other doublespy in any Transformers universe- Punch/Counterpunch. Of course, there was that one episode where Galvatron found out- but it was too late.
Saber Prime wrote:Why is Longarm listed as an Elite Guard member anyway? I guess he is technically but he is a Decepticon spy first and an EG second.
Doubtful again, especially when this show is still active.
Saber Prime wrote:Well that's not really true. He did show himself to Bumblebee and I highly doubt the Autobots aren't going to call Cybertron and tell them who Longarm really is.
This was again taken from the TF Wiki, which says that only the Autobots on Earth know who 'Longarm Prime' really is, but the Elites don't. Besides, knowing how seriously the Elite Guard take the 'repair bots', as could be seen in the first three Season 2 episodes (and even the beginning of the series itself), they will need a lot of convincing.
Saber Prime wrote:At any rate, no one likes the EG but if you're going to trash them you need to pay better attention to what's going on, you missed ALOT of details of what was happening.
I don't know the fandom opinion about the Elite Guard as a whole (except that nearly everyone thinks Sentinel Prime is a jerk), but I just wonder, if they're deliberately shown to be a lot weaker, as a running gag. It's not the only one that may exist- Ramjet rams his nosecone into a lot of things and only ends up getting damaged, while Predaking, with 'no known weaknesses' can't defeat anybody, even a team of Blurr, Wheelie and a human (although they had help). Besides, I like the look of these bots, especially in toy form, especially Ultra Magnus and Jazz. I just thought I'd ask about any running gag here.
