I picked this up today, and first off, the art was phenomenal, and the colors were great too. The 3 cover choices were quite hard to choose from. I got the incentive, but Guido's was calling to me too.
So the story. It was actually pretty good. It is almost too amazing to see such a personality turn around in a character and have it be so total and encompassing. From naughty to nice, seems almost too easy.
Still it was nice to learn about Kup, and Perceptor, as well as, the rest of the Wreckers, and the origin of Kupp's new group.
What I would have liked to have seen would have been 'real' Decepticons...as in one of the several hundreds already created somewhere in there--I didn't recognize anyone--. Instead it looks as though the entire Decepticon crew was new designs. I know it allows them to be destroyed, but if we have seen anything, we have seen that any TF no matter how dead they are, can come back to life... (Prime, Starscream, Bludgeon, Kup to name a few).
So I invite others to bring up their thoughts. It's always more fun to discuss rather than just state things.
I thought Drift was good. We find out he is kind of a Storm Shadow on the Autobot squad, I guess, which is cool, but not new for comics. Enjoy it, I think you will more than most AHM related items that we have seen so far. Even Dead Metal might like it!!!
