I guess if you twisted my arm and asked which one, I would have to go with the Female Autobots. They're very endearing to me.

The Seekers

Starscream is always fun.

I love IDW Thundercracker.

I loved Dreamwave Ramjet. Best opening scene in a TF comic ever. "Bring it on you slaggin' cowards!" as he charges the Ark while being shot up by it's defences. Hated IDW Ramjet though, a 2nd rate Starscream was not needed. I do feel that the Ramjet Spotlight would heve better suited Thrust.

Sunstorm was an interesting villain as even Bumblebee noted he may not actually have been a villain. Plus he gave us another Seeker.

Skywarp just looks cool and has a cool voice. Loved his line in War Within as he teleported in on Bludgeon: "You're fast, I'm faster!" Plus in the G1 pilot, he revived Megatron.

After the Seekers:

Thunderwing's boarding party in the UK comics.

Ruckus (love his MTMTE bio and the fact that he gave some good advice to Thunderwing. He needs a repaint of Defence Hot Shot.)
Quake (one of my first Tf's and still a favourite. Guy took on Megatron as a gladiator and lived! That's worthy of respect.)
Flamefeather (Cos I love Firecons)
Crankcase (Love Triggercons too. Wish they'd repaint the War Within Seeker mold as Windsweeper)

Technobots (Love them in the G1 cartoon)

Protectobots (especially love the cool and capable Streetwise and Brawler Blades)

Stunticons

Sports Car Patrol (especially Black Jack who also restored Megatron. There's a trend in my preferences methinks.)

The first thing that popped into my mind were Micromasters.

Probably. I'd say the Combaticons.

Technobots, thats easy. They don't get a lot of love through out the TF universe. I mean yeah Computron had the personality of a calculator, but heck he had loads of potential. And can you think of a team that is any more mismatched in terms of personalities than the Technobots? It makes for a unique grouping that can do tons of damage and develop to the elites of the elites. Provided those comic writers give them their due.

Wreckers of course! G1 versions in the time wars through to the last stand versions

G1 comic Dinobots, Grimlocks not a numpty, he just doesnt see the point in being nice or careful when your fighting a war.

Constructicons, more so because I'm fond of construction vehicles than anything else, though the Movieverse Constructicons are amongst my favorite TF designs and the Animated Constructicons were fun to watch.

Swindle is awesome enough to make the Combaticons a fave (the other members are great too, of course), though so many military vehicles get released they can feel redundant (conversely, most construction vehicle TFs lately have been Constructicon-related).

Constructicons, hands down. They look so utilitarian and industrial, when they combine it's like the power of all manufacturing coming down on your head.
