(Whistles) That was an EVIL clip. Considering the events of 'Operation Bumblebee' so far, I have a feeling MECH is somehow involved with this...

It has to be a fake Optimus. I know the whole clip seemed tinted red, but Optimus' blaster bolts are blue, not orange. Also there seemed to be an extra resonance to his voice, to suggest it wasn't really our big guy.

I reckon that MECH's robot ends up scanning optimus prime (like RID scourge) and somehow end sup in this situation for a few reasons:
1. Optimus doesn't usually take that long to transform unless he's pausing for effect or slow due to the damage he's taken, otherwise it's slow due to the fact that MECH's robot is still learning to transform
2. Speaking of damage Optimus won't likely take that much damage, he'd probably decapitate them all before anyone has a chance to scratch him

This reminds me of the G1 series wear meg makes a clone of prime and uses it to destroy the autobots.i hope this episode has elements of G1, RID, and Animated. why cuase this would be a cool way to introduce scourge and the headmaster XD

You are right on both parts. I saw this clip before I even had a chance to see any of the new season and figured it out. And I believe the Operation BB episodes it justified my theory.
It is MECH's robot, which will be code named Nemesis Prime. If fans remember MECH scanned Prime in Convoy and they tore apart Breakdown in Operation: Breakdown to try and reverse engineer him. The T-Cog (nice G1 homage and the T-Bob homage to another '80s toon M.A.S.K.) is what they're going to use to transform him, and if you look on the screen in Operation: Bumblebee, Part 1 you can see the right shoulder is that of Prime's. MECH is trying to start a war where all Cybertronians are the enemy, not just the Cons. I'm sure that Agent Fowler will play a vital roll in what I believe will be at least a 2 part episode.
