looked but couldn't find it on seibertron.
the big guy is called Bulkhead. The rest should be obvious. Ratchet is the ambulance, Prowl the bike, Bumblebee the yellow car...

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Looking forward to seeing the Decepticons, still think this series has potential if it's done right.
'Bulkhead' (how do we even know that's his name) looks alot like Crumplezone...
Who's the motorbike? He looks kinda cool...

While I pretty much despise everything on that poster, Bumblebee looks... strangely cute. O.o;
I'm assuming the black and gold Bike is Prowl, and the big green dude taking up half the poster is Bulkhead. Interesting...

God damn it. Fire truck? Again? Save that smeg for Inferno. Did Ratchet and Armada Red Alert mate? Same for Stunticon Dead End and movie Bumblebee, it seems.
My failure sense is tingling. First the movie and now this... there's no stopping them!

Before I knew about this image, I saw a list of names in a topic on tfw2005 - I thought Bulkhead was pretty random too. Then about half an hour later, I saw this picture. The name Bulkhead isn't officially confirmed.

Looks like they're keeping the formula from th e new film

Prowl strangely resembles a jazz-like character and bulk head resmembles an Ironhide-like character.
I don't like the desings, too childish imo, but i'll give it a chance

I still wonder how the toys are gonna work

So uh...yea.
Are these robots, or superheroes in robot suits...
I can't help but think this show is going to be aimed at the preschool generation. I mean, look at this stuff...
Also, I wonder how long it'll take to rename Bulkhead into Hound?

Well, I'll have to eat some of my earlier words when we saw that Prime pic. Prime looks way better here, especially his face. I like Prowl and Bumblebee, not too sure about Bulkhead and Ratchet. I really hope that's Bulkhead, because it if turns out to be Hound, I will be really sad. Hound is above such a brutish bot mode. And Ratchet is fat. Really really fat.

I'm just wondering how the toys will turn out. Not looking great, but I still don't want to trash this series till I see some actual animation going on.

from the looks of the alt modes the toys will probably look better than the cartoon. Don't know I'll catch an episode and wait to see what the toys will look like.
I'm not impressed and they really could have done better.
Wish they would just sell and market to two demographics, one for younger kids which would love this and then the teen group and have a bit more depth and edge without taking too much artistic lisence and just slapping established characters on radical new designs. If your going to make a new design we've never seen before make it a bot we've never seen before.

”We are thrilled to be working with the highly creative team at Cartoon Network on bringing the next chapter in the TRANSFORMERS saga to kids and fans around the world,” said Brian Goldner, Hasbro’s Chief Operating Officer. “The animation style that Cartoon Network has developed really brings the lore and characters of the TRANSFORMERS franchise alive in a way that has never been seen through animation.”
“TRANSFORMERS is a tried and true draw for our core audience,” said Bob Higgins, senior vice president programming and development, Cartoon Network. “Kids love the surprise of 'More Than Meets the Eye,' combined with dynamic, clearly defined characters and epic storylines. We are thrilled to be working with Hasbro to help re-imagine this amazing franchise for a new generation of fans.”
Set on Earth in the near future in Detroit, the alien TRANSFORMERS are thrust into a world populated by humans and automatons. As visitors to Earth, the TRANSFORMERS--OPTIMUS PRIME, BUMBLEBEE, PROWL, BULKHEAD and RATCHET--work in the human world, interacting with the ‘natives’ in exciting and humorous ways. TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED has been created to showcase the heroic AUTOBOTS working together to battle the evil DECEPTICONS and save Earth with kid-relatable plot lines filled with humor, distinctive character personalities, and dynamic action.
