Marvel G1, I never read anything beyond that. It's his appearance... It just ticks me off. Very happy with tank Megatron and the way he dealt with Bludgeon.

Oddly, I still want his G1 toy. I lurve pretenders.

I have nothing against Rodimus (I like him as Hot Rod better, which is why the "Hot Rod" part is struck out), but he's just a total douchebag as a leader IMO.

Wheelie was really annoying, and rodimus because he was constantly crying about something, and trying to cmpare himself to optimus prime.

Sunstorm...or whatever the name of that few panes of yellow misprinted Starscream from like, episode 3 or 4 that, somehow, miraculously, "became" his own character in the multiverse.

I mean, jeebus...we can't get any decent Dinobot voyagers but there is a yellow repain of SS based on some mis-edited animation cells?

I never understood how this guy gained such a following...for anyone who has truly "watched" (like, "creepy stalker" watched) the original animated series, animation, coloring and even background errors were rampant in those days. It actually got worse up until the end of season 3 and the handful of "season 4" episodes, where you would consistantly see Bruticus and Devastator standing ALONGSIDE thier individual bots in the background behind whoever was upstage on screen.

As a matter of fact, this phenom isn't even local to Transformers...I have dozens of old school cartoons (long live axxo!) from G.I. Joe, TF, Thundercats, Silverhawks, Bionic Six, etc...and although most of them are pretty decent, (a few exceptions seem to have more rampant production errors than others) they all contain the occasional animation snafu...so i cant really catagorize this fascination with collecting characters based on erroneous coloring as a TF-centric thing.

I was actually glad when he was killed in the movie. There, I said it. Stupid little midget upstart. Didn'd deflect that laser, did ya.

Plus, all the non-transformers cast sucked, with the exception of Death's Head.

And you can add moonracer to the list too as well as Arcee. Not for their characterisations (which wern't that bad) but for the ONE question they raise.
