Transformers Go! - Kenzan Samurai - Transforms from Police Car to robot and back, capable of combining with the G02 & G03 to form 3 types of giant robot.

I agree. Fully Japanese names (especially if they're in kanji) is fully unheard of in Transformers, but are quite prominent in other Super Robot toy lines. Plus, toy designations can overlap, which is what happened between Popy/Bandai's Chogokin line and Takara's Galaxy Force, with "GC" and "GD", and even "GX" with Bandai's Soul of Chogokin.

What about the names of the Trainbots being fully Japanese (unless you mean nowadays)?JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Burn wrote:I'm going to go with the theory they're confused.

1) Autobase Aichi stated that GO! will not be tied to the Prime animated series. (And yes, Sabr, I did dissect the entire quotation to confirm this.)
2) The first set (listed as GO-01, etc.) are factually Kabaya figures (I remember this as I was seeking a Tank Megatron at the market below Kinokuniya Books in Little Tokyo, and ended up getting my friend a Prowl).
So in all cases, I cannot call it an error based on their past reputations. But, at the same time, I wonder what it will mean for how season 2 ended.
