The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast welcomes everyone back for its post Toy Fair discussion with the latest Studio Series reveals, a look at the packaging for Haslab Liokaiser, new info on Overgear, a check in on MPG Blaster, and our favorite, listener questions. Your host ScottyP is joined by Aaarnhide19, Counterpunch and Megatronus to finally determine what makes for a good space duck (answers and more await in the studio…).

Episode #395 “Toy Fair 2026” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.

Here's what we discuss in this episode:

  • We get a good look at Haslab Liokaiser’s packaging and presentation, question just what’s taking this guy so long to arrive, and ponder all things team related when it comes to the big guy.

    Image

  • Toy Fair 2026 brings us a buffet of interesting choices, new molds, and mistransformed pictures. Astrotrain, Kranix, and Skywarp make modern toy appearances while Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, and Shockwave return in nearly unmodified presentations. Arblus, look! It’s Kranix!?

    Image

  • We check in on Cyberworld and the strange, fun things that it’s offering a different part of the fandom. The cast reacts professionally.

    Image

  • Transformers Overgear brings up a lot of questions and intrigue as we look at the newest offerings and try to determine just how this line came about.

    Image

  • MPG Blaster and Steeljaw wrap up our regular discussion for the episode. This new MPG figure really jumped off the screen and we all try to reconcile what we thought Blaster looked like compared with what he actually did.

    Image

  • Listener Perceptor1996 asks: "What's something you would like to change up about a preexisting combiner team for a theoretical new series?"

  • Listener Kurthy asks: "Do ever think Takara Tomy will get rid of the ridiculous way that MP weapons are held?"

  • We wrap up the episode as we always do, with a modest round of Bragging Rights. These have nothing to do with the toy pictured below.

Dude.... SS Scavenger is easy to find, dude is hogging the shelves here.

AotP Brawl is not worth the $45, he's good, but not $45 good. Though I am glad I got him free off Amazon.

Crap and Kranix, that is accurate. At least Kranix is a bit interesting.

Do we count botbots rubber ducky guy as a duck? and someone finally said Quackles!

That Astrotrain still looks so bad, he's so lanky and awkward.

"I have the money but not the patience", I feel that way too much

If we are talking role play items, other than the G1 Matrix, you could do an Allspark, live action matrix, Prime and G1 key to vector sigma, Mirage-Noah hand gun/light, RotB Transwarp key, TLK Talisman and staff, AOE sword gun, TLK watch that killed hitler, Animated allspark key, Beast wars Dinobot last stand hammer, G1 Soundwave and Blaster boombox modes, and Earthspark cybersleeves. I mean, almost none of those would sell, but options!

Cyberworld is so much fun, I absolutely love all of this!

Overgear looks like a lot of fun, it is a unique looking set of figures, and I enjoy the concept a lot.

Slight nitpick I have always had: I hate how Devastator is like a common threat in the cartoon, but then in the movie is the ultimate weapon sort of thing, felt backtracky and bugged me.

Realizing how long it's been since I have been on with you guys, I miss the crew.

How much did you pay through Chosen Prime Scotty? I just paid $170 through ShowZ yesterday, decided I wanted to try out that Prime.
