Seibertron? Isnt it Spelled Cybertron?

Seibertron is the original japanese spelling, while Cybertron is the name everywhere else.

So, in Japan:

CYBERTRON = SEIBERTRON
AUTOBOT = CYBERTRON

Well, I assume for "Cybertron" they say "Sai". Thus, the people are called "Saiburutorons" (or whatever...) while the planet is called "Seiburutoron" (or whatever...).


Interesting to note, "sei" I believe is added onto names in reference to planets or stars (like how "-san" can mean mountain, so "fuji-san" == mt. fuji // not to be confused with using -san in reference to people Ishida-san == "Mr. Ishida").
Thus, that might be a reason the planet is called Seibertron while the people are Saibertrons/Cybertrons. It's a play on words in Japanese. That's just a guess though.
