Doing a TF Mural
- Motto: "Vote for Beast Wars!"
- Weapon: Sword
I'm going to be painting my room soon, and I thought it would be cool if I made one of the walls a mural. Any thoughts/ideas of what to do?

A giant never ending Pac-man maze/level filled with different 8-bit game characters.

LOL! I'm pretty sure he meant what he could do related to TF...But that sounds like a cool idea anyway

I'm sure he means TF as well, but the question was
I am merely presenting my idea.

Well, figure out what kind of furniture might be against this wall to outline your workspace. Are you the kind who rarely rearranges furniture? Then maybe work it into the mural as levels, perches, etc. If you are a rearranger, keep this in mind, perhaps keeping the mural above the 3-foot mark or so.
I'd love to see a battle scene between soundwave and blaster and their minions...

That was more of what I was thinking of. Something fairly simple. I have a projector(one of those old school ones) that I can use to project a picture on the wall and then trace and paint.

Re: Doing a TF Mural
Ooooooooh, I like the idea of positioning it around furniture. What could be better than Starscream getting ready to leap off your bookshelf? Megatron aiming head level for anyone entering the room? Nice.
You're already halfway there if you have a projector--even more if your kind can resize images. What you really need is a concept. You could create a battle scene (as suggested). Or you could do a big splash page, like some of the wraparound comic covers.
Or you could isolate and have the images scattered around the room, interacting with the furniture. I could see Soundwave hitching back to kick my Bose, for example.
Or a tribute to a character's evolutions over the various continuities, like one of those Darwin evolution timelines that starts with primordial ooze through rodents, apes, cavemen, and then us, but with your favorite character.
Craft stores will have the paint--all that silly stuff that stencillers use works great on walls, and they often have good smooth primers and sealants--you'd hate all that hard work to get dinged!
HK, whose ideas are probably totally lame. Sigh. At least I'm consistent.

Depending on what you have in your collection, you could incorperate that into your mural using some shelving. You could so some kind of background and position your collection in a battle scene and use paintings to accentuate the scene.

I always thought that the Soundwave vs Blaster DJ battle in the disco image would make a good wall mural
