I've been Watching Transformers Energon and so far I've made it to Jungle Planet and it seems to be better than Armada. I still don't understand what the hell is going on with Alpha Q.
Downshift and Clifjumper's names in the show seem to be reverse of their toys. They're preddy consistant with this too. The larger mega class Autobot marked on the toys as Clifjumper is actully Downshift in the show and the smaller delux class Autobot marked as Downshift on the toys is actully Clifjumper. I'd still prefer to call the small delux sized Autobot Wheeljack though, due to his uncanny resembalance to a certain G1 Autobot by the name Wheeljack.
Allso in this episode Jungle Planet there's a sceen where Demolisher is talking to "Megatron" and you hear Megatron's voice but Scorpinok is the one responding and Megatron isn't even there.
Come on now, Armada made some preddy frequent mistakes like that but puting Megatron's voice in Scorpinok's body is worse than any mistake Armada ever did. Even the time Demolisher spoke with Red Alert's voice for an entire episode isn't as bad and screwing up one of the faction leaders.
-=edit=-
OK I'm watching Bulkhead now and I gotta say, someone seriously screwed up the titles. "Jungle Planet" was more about Bulkhead and "Bulkhead" was all about protecting Jungle Planet.
As long as I completly ignore the fact that Energon is a sequill of Armada it's actully not a bad series. Armada was complet crap though.

The events after Megatron does something that sends the Autobots, Decepticons, Kicker, Alpha Q, and Unicorn across the universe the series goes downhill. I think this is partially due the American writers trying to Americanize it
(and badly I might add) and going against the storyline.
If Energon had ended with Unicron creating what is essentional a black hole and the Autobots following the Decepticons into the black hole, it would've set Cybertron perfectly.

I always figured they did exactly that in the interval between Energon and Cybertron.
Life can be pretty sweet when your alt-mode is a B-2 Stealth Bomber.

OK your first responce is to say how badly the American Wrighters go agenst the story line.Cyberstrike wrote:The events after Megatron does something that sends the Autobots, Decepticons, Kicker, Alpha Q, and Unicorn across the universe the series goes downhill. Then your next response is how to end the series so it leads into Cybertron?
You do realise Cybertron is based on Galaxy Force. The series isn't supose to follow Superlink/Energon at all. Hasbro's the one who said Cybertron was ment to be another sequill but it really didn't turn out that way sence it's obvious all the Transformers have no memory of their time on Earth in the previous series and humans are once again completly unaware Transformers even exsist.

They don't appear to be airing ANY Transformers cartoons in the American Midwest. Not only that, but I haven't been able to find a single solitary DVD of ANY series! No G1, no Beast Wars, no Armada or Energon or Cybertron... NOTHING!

The writing for Superlink was very good, it did get muddled during the translation, but nothing too bad. Alpha Q is meant to be all mysterious and confusing, but dont worry it does get cleared up.
Energon is kind of like Armada, it started off slow, but really picks up in the second half of the series.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

I think you missunderstand, I finished the entire series, Alpha Q still makes no sence. It looks like he started out evil and for no appearent reason changed sides. It doesn't help matters any that he talks to himself (each head has it's own personailty but they're all the same guy) and there's a 5th head that isn't even on the toy version of him. (I guess technically it's a 4th head because the other one doesn't talk but all the spinning heads are inside a 5th head's mouth)
Alpha Q's just a crazy skitso, that's all I can make of him.
