Favourite version of Optimus Prime?
Everybody loves Optimus Prime (except Megatron of course, but he doesn't really like anyone), and of course, everyone's got their favourite version of Optimus.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess most of you probably like the G1 version, but I thought it might be interesting to see how many of you prefer another version.
I, for example, am kinda fond of the Unicron Trilogy version (specifically, his Cybertron version), because I really like how he can combine with other transformers, and I just generally like the look of him. I guess the Revenge of the Fallen Optimus can do this too, but I've never really liked the look of the Bayformers.
So, what's everyone else's favourite Optimus?

That's a good-looking question man. From a fiction point of view, it is definitely G1 for me, and of the 3 within that timeframe, I prefer the non-powermaster Prime by far. It got to the point where you didn't know what bits were Prime and what bits were Hi-Q by the end!
Toy wise, there are soo many to choose from and I would have to go for these as my top 3:
1) MP-01 - Huge and awesome, I still prefer this to MP-10
2) G2 Laser Optimus Prime, also repurposed for the awesome RID Scourge
3) RID Optimus Prime. This guy was great, and combined with Ultra Magnus as well.
That's my 2p's worth anyway.

I gotta say G1 because he set the scale for Optimus' later to come down the road.
But I love Shattered Glass Prime. He looks so cool and I wish I could have gotten the deluxe figure from Botcon so many years ago...

Re: Favourite version of Optimus Prime?
Actually, I might have to adjust my favourite. Cybertron Prime is great, but Jungle Planet Prime? OH EM GEE. I just got the Primal version of him in the mail (thanks, ridiculously affordable eBay seller!), and I think one word sums him up.

I'm for the 'Classics' Prime. it is so what the G1 should have been, plus the hollow chest/back of the G1 style used to freak me out as a kid for some unknown reason.
(and I'll be so hated for saying this, but I keep mine with my 'G3 Trailer', Prime, without a trailer just doesn't look the complete bot that he could be)

How can you be hated for that? Most Prime purists bought the G3 trailer. I have it and it is beautiful, every classics Prime needs one

G1 Prime. He had a great appearance and look and he was a great role-model to some kids. I cried when he died in the movie.

Robot Master Prime
Don't have the new MP Prime so I can't rate it.

Re: Favourite version of Optimus Prime?
Probably Armada Prime. Though, not unlike those who love G1, it's probably because he was the first Prime I saw. I look at it now and I see that the animation is indeed lazy, and there was lots of dialogue errors, but Prime was still awesome. The way he cared so much for Starscream/Mini-Cons, and even admitted to enjoying fighting Megatron made him awesome.
For toys: MP-01, Cybertron, Armada, and RID Optimus are all so much fun. Idk who I would choose out of those.

G1 Prime is the best one, I do must say his personality in the others have been modle vry well to suit the need of the show.
All in all I still love the orginal old school rocks. Now the Transfomer Hub Prime I like him, very nice to see more of a facial reaction to his G1 counter part.

G1 Animated. he set the standard. And unlike others, didn't hide from humanity but openly embraced us.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

Toywise, G1, Actionmaster and RID.
Have to admit I'm not a fan of Optimus. Cullen gives a great performance but I've always been a Rodimus fan.

EDIT: There is something VERY appealing about Transtech Prime to me. Here's hoping he gets a toy release, but I am soooooooo not holding my breath.
AND WHAT OF ORION PAX??? I like Spotlight Pax and Ongoing Pax.

*sigh* Really want either one to be turned into a toy....

G1 Prime, he set the bar and I could go on forever why he was the best.
I also liked the 2005 live action Prime. He did what he had to do to win. Even if that meant leaving one behind.

There was no live action film in 2005.
