I'm re-watching Beast Wars on Netflix for the 3rd time and loving every moment of it. The show is awesome and the voices are spot on. Megatrons masterminded, cunning, and proactive ways makes him one of my all time favorite so I'll leave him out of this just to keep the obvious out of the list.

1. Inferno: His courage, loyalty, and strength made him an instant favorite for me. I can recall when Inferno takes on both Quickstrike and Silverbolt and is not only winning but having a great time. "Pain is my friend, allow me to introduce him to you!"

2. Rhinox: Although he was not always where the action was, his brains did the work for him but it was his patients that made me like him. Always knowing what to do and keeping his cool even when the fate of the maximals was at stake made him awesome. I also liked that he is the only original maximal that never changed form.

3. Waspinator: This guy is just a joke and not to be taken serious. But it's this that made him the underdog so I always found myself rooting for him to succeed, which was a poor success rate. Still his poor vocabulary made me laugh.

1) Megatron- quite possibly the best and certainly the most successful Transformers villain ever.

2) Dinobot- the single best individual character arc of the series.

3) Tarantulas- always adding an element of unpredictability to the series, and the very best evil laugh ever recorded.

3 great villains. I liked the Maximals fine, and really every character has their moments, but these three baddies were all believable threats, and scary, dammit!

1) dinobot
he was so much more than he appeared to be. very deep, and very spiritual in a sense as he was quite aware of his role, that he had to play. even when he returned as a transmetal 2 i loved how monsterous and evil he was. as if thats what he wanted to be all along and now the collar was off.

2) optimus primal
he entered the war as a novice and rose with every challenge. which is something to be said given all the curve balls megatron threw. you can literally watch him grow into a great leader throughout the coarse of the series, which you could never see with optimus prime. prime started out as a great leader, which made him somewhat one dimensional.

3) rampage
he was evil incarnate. born a monster right to the core, and sickingly enjoyed every minute of it. and his death was pretty epic. why did he let depth charge kill him? because he knew they would both die in the process? life was a joke and made no difference to him? who knows.

honorable mention: tarantulas
for being truely insane. which really showed when he tried to blow up the ark containing all autobots and decepticons. with no harm to himself i know, but thats still quite the endeavour.

1) Megatron: because if you don't like him, then the problem is with you.

2) Waspinator: because he's piss funny.

3) Rampage: absolutely adored his characterization. The poetic rivalry between he and Depth Charge was... poetic. I look forward to his TFCC incentive figure.

Ya know, it's weird... I never cared too much for the Predacons until I looked at my list and saw how many of them made up a part of it...

1. Waspinator - hands down, one of my favorite things to ever come out of BW. Highly memorable, always funny... I could go on about my love for Waspy all day...

2. Megatron - I preferred the design of his first transmetal version over the original purple Dino mode and his dragon mode, but overall he was still the coolest form of Megatron in my book. And that voice...mmm yeesssssssss

3. Dinobot/Silverbolt - this ones a toe because I can't decide if my love for one of the most heroic, honorable, and badass story arc moments in Beast Wars overrule my love for canine-based alt modes.
