Yeah, it is. Looks like someone made a mistake either with the date or the bookings. Aside from that, it actually looks like it might be worth it. I might check it out. Lot closer to my house and half the price of BotCon.

Nice! Are these all of their roles for Transformers, or just G1?

What should I get signed?!

It looks like the Texas Comicon has added yet another Transformers voice actor to their already stellar line-up! David Sobolov, the voice of Transformers Beast Wars Depth Charge and Transformers: Prime Shockwave, will also be making an appearance.

The event takes place in San Antonio, TX June 20th thru the 22nd. Other guests include:

  • Alan Oppenheimer - Warpath, Beachcomber, Seaspray
  • Michael Bell - Prowl, Sideswipe, Scrapper, Swoop
  • Neil Ross - Bonecrusher, Hook, Springer, Slag
  • Gregg Berger - Grimlock, Long Haul, Outback, Jetfire

Including David Sobolov is only logical, you sickening pieces of slag.

Dave seems like the odd man out, though. A fairly recent Transformers VA in a sea of classics.

OK, so the date is for real? The same weekend as BotCon? Man, these organizers had some cojones. Nonetheless, I'd like to see Peter Cullen and Gregg Berger make it to this one, I would definitely like to meet Cullen finally. Also, all the others as well. I'm just still a bit thrown by this being on the same weekend as BotCon. I'm sure the guests who're supposed to be at both will manage somehow, but still, that makes for a busy weekend.
