Fellow Seibertronian Mindmaster has given us a heads up on a new Transformers mobile game from Kabam Inc called Transformers: Generations Collide. It is a fighting game, similar to the Marvel theme one on mobile, but featuring Transformers. New characters are added every week and it seems they are blending different continuities together with the only image from the game being a G1 styled Optimus against Revenge of the Fallen Megatron. This would explain the name "Generations Collide". You can read all the details below and get the game here.

This looks very promising. Movie Megatron vs G1 Optimus sounds like an interesting fight to watch. Are they including any other universes?

Here's hoping there's more than just the iconic bots from G1 and Movieverse. I'm not expecting, like, literally every Ransack ever, but it'd be great if most of the series got some representation other than the token Optimus + kid-appeal guy.

Hmmm. I'd be pretty interested if it was a full fighting game like Street Fighter or Smash or Marvel vs Capcom or something on an actual console, but I'm not entirely sure being on mobile would work well... plus mine always lags so I won't be able to get this since fighting games require precise movements and split-second decisions. So even if it turns out to be good I won't be able to experience that

Don't get too excited about this game. Kabams Marvel Contest of Champions is a fun game and I was playing it before global launch enjoying it very much, but once it was in full swing the game turned into a straight money pit. I'm talking you can't even enjoy the game free to play money pit and if you wanna do well in an event good luck. You need to play for 72 hours straight to place in the top 100 and of course there's a 100 people running macro programs.

If it was a console game I might be interested but these kinds of mobile games are usually very soulless money grabbers.

An arcade fighter on a tablet? I'd end up breaking the tablet in frustration due to crappy touchscreen controls. Call me when it is on PC and you can hook it to a real joy stick. Not that it matters, i'm predicting low quality baloney. "Finishing moves? Multi hit combos? It's not like anyone is going to be able to pull that off on their $50 Android tablet, don't bother."

Weeeeeeeell if you step into an Apple Store nowadays, they have these terrific controllers that don't look dissimilar from your picture there. They're comfortable, and have plenty of buttons and versatility. I've got something similar for emulators (not even jail broken, mind you). Mine is tiny enough to fit on a keychain, but the ones in the store sandwich around your phone or tablet elegantly. I'd recommend the investment!

Uh, no, you could do this in Battle Tactics as well.

Anyway. I may check this out but I've had my fill of lousy TF mobile games thanks to DeNA. Earth Wars is slowly teaching me that there's hope after all, but this one doesn't seem promising based on earlier comments about their Marvel game.
