Fellow poster, Autobobby1, suggested I put these up after I shown these to him/her.

I started this comic back in the summer of 2004 on the Vector Sigma forums. Some of you might recognize some of the names of posters who are or were here at some time. It is based upon the Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior game series, the Erdrick/Loto trilogy in particular. I took some liberties in the storylines to make it understandable for anyone reading it who are not familer with the game series.

The first 10 or so comics are so-so visually, since I was just starting at that time ( and made the big no-no's of spriting like any beginner did :lol:

), but after #11, it gets better. Also, the format switched from 8 to 16-bit cause when I asked posters that wanted to be in the comic, they mostly sent 16-bit sprites, so I had to switch.

I normally add a new page each week, sometimes I can make two. I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I enjoyed making them.

P.S. If anyone has the full map of Alefgard ( or the entire overworld from DQ 2 remix ) from the 16-bit remix of Dragon Quest 1 or 3, PLEASE lemme know, I've been hunting that for years, and making overhead map shots from scratch takes alot of time and energy on my part, thanks.

holy slag thats alot, you could probably set up a online comic site with all of those and make the millions.

I want to critisize this. I really do. It's not that I like it, I just can't figure out a way to properly critisize without coming off like a complete dick.

Two major mistakes you made:

1. JPEGs and GIFs. Don't use them. Use PNG. You get all the quality for half the filesize.

2. If you want to show someone your comics, don't give them the whole archive in a bunch of links. I know I don't want to go through a bunch of links for God knows how man hours. Either post the comics iin an easy-to-access archive, or post a comic or two on a regular basis.

1: The Jpegs were orginally mistakes, I did not see that till I was too late. I use gifs because PNG's wont open in my Corel Graphics program. Gifs, from experience take up even less space than PNG.

2: I did post em on regular basis, this is just the results of two years, I can just simply post along with the others when I make em, since I've done that with the other forums.

Anyway, some of these are really good. But of course, some of them use WAY too many special terms, I.E. number 1.

Do you remember that awesome Guy Rodimusprime256 and his God complex? He rocked. Oh and EliteStarlock, GreekOptimus and Blades4Eva were pretty cool too. hahahaha

I'm working on getting 3-4 comics up this week, to make up for lost time. Plus my compy conked out for a bit.

Put up a couple of new ones.

Sorry about the long hiatus, but my creative gears were not grinding for awhile, plus I needed to make some updates to the sprite sheets. I felt it best to take some time off from it, rather then just churn out half-assed material.
