What's your fave Series/Anime/Character/Mecha in SRW?

Well as long as this thread doesn't go out of control, I might as well join in.

I've only played the american releases so far, and I like both of them, the Alteisen being my favorite PT.

I also go on Youtube alot and find videos of almost all the mechs showing each of there move and attacks. Genisic GaoGaiGar so far being my favorite with the amazing Goldion Crusher.

And the series introduced me to the group known as JAM Project, I've listened to a lot of their songs so far.

I only hope that SRW: Original Generations for the PS2 comes to America, it looks really awesome.

Yes, finally another newly discovered fan of SRW. You like GaoGaiGar and JAM Project too? Sweet~~

Genesic Gaogaigar and it's series are one of mine fave japanese anime mecha.

JAM Project's song it's so full with Hot-Blooded song. Especially Meikyuu No Prisoner.

Unfortianatly no, I've only played the american releases so far. Though I have seen a lot of content from A3 it looks very cool.

Though I'm hoping, REALLY hoping, that SRW: OGS comes to america. I really don't see why it shouldn't due to it having zero licenced mecha. Also it just looks beatiful in the graphics department, I never knew so much could be done with a 2D game.

The new SRW games is up on XBOX (or PS3 - can't remember), it's all in 3D mode. Eventhough it gave the fans of SRW a new taste/experiences in the 3D mode, but i like the 2D mode better.

It all started when someone introduce me to J knowing I was a Tekkaman fan. Combine with gundams and being a general mecha fan it lead me to playing D and R, recently A as well. The OGs espicially OG2 became my favorite games on the GBA. They better bring OGs over here when it finally comes out.

My friends play it but i dont since i cant read japanese but i follow stuff from watching them play, Youtube and from /m/ on 4chan. I tend to stay away from threads about it here since i sort of started a huge fight here when there was a SRW thread awhile back.

I mentioned i never really liked Allenby Beardsly from G Gundam or that i wouldn't really use her that much in the game if i had it, and it sparked this whole thing where people started screaming that she is the strongest in the entire G series (which is a lie she lost to Domon so she isn't the strongest). Then it turned into a fight about whether Guyver should be in one, but technically the only one who should be is Giant Guyver since normal Guyver is a power armor not a mech, then that sort of led to a Tekkaman argument since like guyver, Tekkaman is technically a battle armor not a mech. From there it went into just blatant insults. It continued for a while until i apologized out of fear of being banned even though i really didn't do anything wrong other than expressing my opinions although i did hurl insults from people it was mainly in defense against the insults hurled at me. The guys I started it with arent on anymore at least i dont think they may have changed their names.

Maybe thats the real reason why SRW doesn't come over here, it can lead to many long changing arguments.

Also the fact that it would be a sleeper hit since alot of the general public doesn't know about the Mazinger, Shin Getter, Dancougar, GaoGaiGar etc.

Mazinger, Getter Robo, Dancougar, Gaogaigar and other jap mecha anime series are mostly my favourite genre on anime.

;;) I loves with their unique power; like

-Mazinger with it's Firing 'Buresutou Faiyaa' (Breast Fire),
-Getter Robo with it's 3 forms (like the 1st form),
-Dancougar with it's Danku Koga Ken (A very powerful energy beam from Danku Ken Sword that can sliced enemies into half)
-Also GaoGaiGar with it's power-spinning-punch attack (Broken Magnum/Phantom) and 'Heaven and Hell' technique.

:-? But i don't understand why peoples argue with a little things, like different thoughts/opinions > that can made/ruin other members > feel uneasy with it.

I know that everyone have a different thoughts/opinions but take it easy. Let's share, tolerates with other people and be an open-minded person.
