Howdy all, I was just drifting around the internet today, and I found this:

Essentially, it's a Superman game based on the Animated series from the PS1. And it was supposed to be good! For some reason I find that fascinating.

I remember seeing this for N64. I heard it was awful.

So apparently a damn fine version of Superman 64 was made for PS1, but not released. Somewhere in the universe, there's a video game publisher who really needs to get smacked upside the head.

Smacked upside the head with a nice big hunk o' Kryptonite! I read the review and like the fact that puzzle solving is a significant part of the game and thank lord that the controls are better than the N64 game.

I wonder if it was this bad.... Hopefully not. Why superman just can't beat the crap out of Lex Luthor is beyond me.. Noooo by all means fly through some floating rings.

I played the N64 game almost to the end, sadly flying through rings was the best part.

I saw the Angry Video Game Nerd's review of it. What came after that and did it take you months to get there? That is impressive that you got that far.

Really bad combat, you saw how he punched in the review imagine actually fighting like that. Asinine objectives: There was one part where you fight Darkseid in a parking garage then carry him to the police. Darkseid is a tyrannical overlord. Putting him in a parking garage is bad enough, but turning him over to the police would be like putting Saddam Hussein in time out. The worst part was the teleporters near the end. There was a room with about 8 teleporters. Whenever you go through one it changes a number at the top of the screen. Your goal was to get the number to 2000, the problem is it was totally random and you had a time limit. I missed the rings at that point.
