Trying to upgrade my ancient computer....which processor would be best? Not for any hardcore gaming, but for things like After Effects, Movie Maker, playing HD videos, etc. EX: Trying to make a stop-motion, I render the clips on Movie maker, while editing the fresh clips with After Effects, while editing pics on MS Paint, while surfing the web while everything is loading. Right now, I can hardly play 420p on Youtube, and I would like to be able to play 1080p, 720p at least. Also, Movie Maker is extremely slow, and After Effects easily crashes if you move too fast for it. Not concerned about storage, I have a terrabyte+ to spare. Also, not concerned about the screen (I want a laptop), since I have a 61" to hook it up to. (I do need an HDMI port)
I know i7 is superior to the rest, but I'm wondering if it's really noticeable, especially since people usually just talk about processors for gaming.
Any good deals you may have seen/purchased, or advice?

Sorry, didn't know there was such a thing. Well, I did, but I forgot I guess.
