No humans. No Michael Bay. Two campaigns. Three-player online (only) drop-in/drop-out co-op Transformers with a link to the past and a Gears of War amount of gunfire. Happier?

We get more War For Cybertron related news with another preview of the game by Kotaku.com. They've been given a sneak peak of the video game, and tell us what's in store for the PS3/Xbox 360 versions slated to be released in the second half of the year. Check out a snippet of what they have to say below, along with a couple of pictures...

Last week, the developers of Transformers: War For Cyberton began the live demo of their summer game with an audacious claim. "The goal was not to make the best Transformers game ever," Matt Tieger, lead designer of this new game was telling Kotaku. "The goal was to make a great game that was a Transformers game."

War For Cybertron is a fictional fresh start for Transformers, launching as a game made by High Moon Studios and supported by new toys from Hasbro. It's an all-robots take on Transformers that puts the Autobots and Decepticons on Cybertron at the crisis point of their civil war. It is an action game spread across what Tieger said are two entirely distinct, seven-chapter campaigns, one for the Decepticons that sees the forces of Megatron rise to revolution, and one for the Autobots that sees a figure named Optimus lead the resistance and become Optimus Prime.

I cannot wait for this. Still looks amazing. I hope the toy line gets a few more characters added to the line-up

Is this a clue that WfC is related to the upcoming cartoon called "Prime"?
Are there any official info about this?

However,it's a bit disappointing that they didn't use the names Orion Pax or Optronix...

It was TFCC content and we're not aloud to news or post that stuff we might find ourselves with cement shoes at the bottom of the nearest river..... I think.

Then why was The Allspark allowed to post it? Shouldn't they be cemented in a river by now? :-?

It's just a forum post and not a news post, and I think it was part of the Hasbro Q&A and I think we no longer news them as HAsbro has stopped answering seibertron.com's questions.

I didnt know it was official, I thought it was just a theory...if thats the case, I probobly wont be pissed about the CG then.
