I have been eyeing up leader megs but then noticed a voyager, does anyone own this and if so is it any good?

I found the voyager version at a walmart a few days ago. His coloring is so much better then the leader class i think, but i dont think i can live with buying a small megatron.. im debating either to get the crappy painted leader class and get someone to paint it, or paint it myself.. or wait for a repaint of it.. but who knows. The voyager one defenitly has a nicer grey..though i dont care much for all of the *ice* on him

Say who on the whatnow?

Where did you hear that there is a Voyager Megatron figure coming out? I personally cannot remember reading any such news, and I doubt that there is a Megatron toy on tis way, as AC toys and other sites that have pics have not had any of him either.

Dude, please tell me that was sarcasm. Leader megs is the big ugly bastard and Voyager MEgs is the one with fake ice on it. They are both in the galleries section.

How the hell can you honestly say you don't know there's a Voyager Class Megatron?

I thought you were ahead of the game and whatnot. Apparently not.

Yes, there is a Voyager Class Megatron, no it's not as good as the Leader Class, and it's gotten bad reviews. (A little worse than the LC actually.)

It has chunks of "ice" throughout the body which fills in spots, so they can't be removed, they're an actual part of the figure.

...he's sucktabulous.

It's been hard to find him in Canada, as the movie toys are flying off shelves, but I'll pick him up when I see him. I might even wait until there's a sale, even though he looks nice.

I haven't seen Voyager Megatron around here at all. Since I have the Robo Vision Prime might as well get a Voyager Megs to pair up with him.

Hoping the leader class guys will go on sale and I can pick them up later this year.

I'm in BC and I managed to find a grand total of ONE Voyager Megs... better believe I snatched it.

I personally like the Voyager Megs better than the leader class and intend to buy it instead of the leader version.

I like both it's robot and alt modes better and the ice make it look alittle unique... I have a thing for translucent plastic though :-P

Here in the UK we only have the leader class megatron. Although I did see a megatron figure for £12, but it didn't even trasnform! :-x

Well Leader really is the proper version, Voyager is just an extra thing they made.

I, too, found my Voyager Megs at a Wal-Mart. Looks like that's the magic place for the moment. And after comparing him to my friend's Leader Megs, I think I can honestly say Voyager is a lot better, even with the ice.

I like the look of Voyager Megs, except the ice. The ice is a dealbreaker, it's just terrible and pointless. There was a rumour floating about a while back that the Japanese version wouldn't have all that ice crap, but I haven't heard a damn thing about it since. Was it ever confirmed or denied? I'd definitely want him was it not for the ice.

I saw Voyager and Leader Megs yesterday at my local WalMart, and i passed on both. Picked up Voyager Ratchet instead. But now i'm curious, is Voyager megs better than leader?

I didn't particularly like the ice. But he wasn't as bad as i though he would be. Although the fact that his head is just sitting there in jet mode, kinda puts me off from buying both of him.

They couldn't find a way to hide the head in either toy that's just sad.

Maybe FAB Megatron can hide his head.

They both look like crap I wouldn't touch either of them with a ten foot pole. The only way I would get one of them is if someone did custom repaint and put it up for auction on ebay. There was an really cool custom paint job somone did that was floating around on the forum awhile back that showed what how they should have painted him in the first place.
