While difficult transformers can be frustrating, both those terms are distinct and what I am looking for are the transformers that you dread transforming because they are simply annoying to do so. Like panels that need aligning, parts that just wont peg and stay put, parts you have to use EXTREME pressure to detach, parts that fall off all the darn time etc.

These are the ones I particularly find annoying:

ROTF Leader Jetfire for his panels when transforming to jet mode

ROTF Optimus Prime for those chest pieces that must peg into his arms in vehicle mode and the fact that he wont stop saying his name when you try to transform him.

MP 05 Megatron for lifting up his telescoping chest in robot mode and detaching his arms when transforming to gun mode. I am always afraid I will break him.

The Alternity Seekers for those car doors that always pop off. I do think both modes look great though, I just wish it didnt have to be this frustrating getting from one mode to the next.

Let me know which ones annoy you most.

ROTF jetfire is not only frustrating, it's just a horrible transformation and toy overall. Almost the entire robot body is slung underneath. It's a load of **(%$#$^* and a waste of money. :BANG_HEAD:

As for ROTF Optimus Prime, yeah. Another bad one. There's a reason he's gathering dust in the back of my live-action shelves while the Prime from the 2007 movie I still play with.

Oh and Ultimate Optimus is annoying too, it takes me forever to transform back and forth all the way, especially putting the trailer back together.

ROTF Lockdown: As much as I like the figure, his left arm keeps popping off in two places, and rotating the door panel on his right arm makes me feel like I'm going to break something.

RTS Wreck-gar & Junkions: Breaking off those handlebars ergh, and link g everything up in Altmode is not always possible.

I mean, I have issues with how flimsy some parts feel (on bee especially), and I think that is the second worst plastic ever used in transformer toys. But the transformation itself is more complex than annoying. Things do fit well if you follow the instructions. Although these are far from obvious transformers, so trying to do it without instructions the first time is almost impossible (though I dont think that should be a factor to call them annoying).

And speaking of things aligning, I can't align the car doors on Generations Skids.

Skids can be tricky sometimes, you've gotta have his legs bent at just the right angles or it doesn't work too well, but I haven't had any issues there for a while.

The Prime thing is very complex and time consuming, but I guess it's not all that difficult, Bee on the other hand, unless his arms are rotated just right, his front end just doesn't close up properly, and the rear of the shell is tricky to line up sometimes. Satisfying in the end, just a pain to do so its not something I pick up and fiddle with very often.

Put me down for this toy as well.

Getting those arms back inside the barrel mixer and feet tucked inside the cab for truck mode. Is just a frustrating unpleasant transforming experience.

I had a blast playing with Twin Twist as a kid. But the spring loaded clip did weaken over time to the point that I couldn't play with the gimmick after a number of years of use. I've made use of his gun in my CHUG collection. Love those old weapons with their 5mm pegs.

This is the fate deluxe ROTF Ironhide met by my hands. I made it die and it felt good. :lol:

So he gets my vote in this.

Also- special mention to DOTM Sentinel Prime. The leader. That takes so bloody long I need breaks.

I only have the Leader Optimus from the first film, but he is fiddly and complicated, and I can never peg everything in properly in his alt-mode.

Of the figures I own, Titanium Megatron and Generations Galvatron are both bothersome. Not because they are difficult to transform, but because their legs keep falling off.

Just curious guys, if I asked for most complex instead of most frustrating/annoying would the replies be any different?

I mean, sure, there would be no Leader Jetfire but we would still end up with WFC Bumblebee, ROTF Mixmaster, MP Megatron, DOTM Sentinel Prime, ROTF Optimus Prime.

Is there anyone out there more complex than those? I feel the one with the most steps ever is Ultimate Optimus Prime who has 51 Steps. No one else beats that right?
