Hey everyone! New to the board. I guess at this stage i am a casual transformer fan. Was a big g1 fan growing up as a kid. purchased a few takara g1 re releases. Also bought a lot of the generations toys as I was a fan of the video game. The other day during the blizzard of 2016 I had netflix on for my son and turned on the Transformers prime series. He loved it and it sparked my interest again. Will they ever re-release the prime figures?

Probably not, it's really just original G1 molds that get rereleases. If anything there might someday be some reimagining of some of the characters the way there've been some Armada Generations figures, but not a rerelease, and I certainly wouldn't hold my breath waiting.

Actually, I guess in Japan they are getting a Combiner Wars reimagining of Breakdown using the truck limb mold. Figures, since we never even got him in the Prime line, now we get to not have him again. :roll:

But I digress, if you want to get your kid Prime toys, you're going to have to get them on the aftermarket, unfortunately.

Thanks for the reply. That sux. Was looking at a combo pack of Optimus and MEGATRON on yahobby.com. Is the a reliable site?

I love the Prime series as well. I've never purchased from yahobby so I have no input there. I usually go through bigbadtoystore and Amazon. Also try some local comic shops.

The Prime line was the one line I focused on for completion and I love just about all the figures in the line as a whole.
