Question about Takara Masterpiece Thundercracker MP-11T

Dear forum members:

First of all, congratulations for this great website.

I have a question: Is there any risk to ruin the grey painting of the chest with the transformation of Thundercracker? I had problems with the purple painting (which is above of the grey painting) of the chest of Skywarp (Takara Masterpiece MP-11SW) with the transformation robot to jet.
