G1 Sunstreaker Help

This is one of the few G1 molds I have no experience with... can anyone help out? Take a look at how that canopy sits on this Red Diaclonestreaker. Is it a defect? See it next to a proper yellow Streaker... :-?

It's not a defect per se. As part of his transformation the roof and spoiler section is swung up 90 degrees after extending the legs and standing the figure up. On the red Diaclone figure it's not fully swung back. Here are the Instruction so you can see what I mean:
