Any figures you regret not getting?
Was there ever a figure you passed on because you thought it would be a shelf-warmer or you just simply passed on?

No regrets, they're only toys at the end of the day and it's not worth getting upset about. If I've missed something I'll be able to find it down the line somewhere even if it's at an inflated price. There's quite enough stress and misery in the world, if I let my hobby add to it what would be the point?

I kinda regret not picking up the Machine Wars line when I had the chance. At first, they were KayBee exclusives. Then, when they couldn't unload them on clearence, they sold their entire stock of them to Meijer who then put them on clearence again and they just sat there forever.

Armada Unicron. I was really THIS close to getting it, but I slipped up. Mistake.
20th Anniversary Soundwave - SO STUPID CLOSE, JUST MISSED OUT!
I've got my eyes on a figure - 20th Anniversary Prime. I actually like it better than Masterpiece Convoy, even without the trailer, and I'm not going to miss my chance.

I actually kinda regret not getting Cybertron Galvatron when I had the chance - he had a really nice paint scheme.
There's also a few other Cybertron characters i simply couldn't pick up when I had the chance for $$ reasons - like Jetfire, Red Alert, CD Scattorshot and Hotshot (I got CD Red Alert), and others.
And I regret not getting a VERY few of the Energon figures. Not many, but a few. But for the most part, I hadn't gotten back into TF's enough for them.

I could have got a Takara reissue of God Ginrai for like $60 but it was gone when I went to order it the next day - that's twice I've seen that guy only to have him slip through my fingers.
I really want him too, he's like way up the list on G1 reissue TFs I want.
Same story with Skywarp, saw him cheap at auction and came back to get him the next day only to find him gone.
Ditto for Binaltech Laserwave
I always wait on things even though this keeps happening to me

Armada Skywarp.
20th anniversary prime. It was in my hands. I had it. And.. i didn't have enough $ to get it at the time.
That and Energon Ultra Magnus. I saw it, and i thought "What a waste, i already have the original and like it better.." and moved along. And i never ever saw it ever again.

I had a chance to buy a MIB stickers unapplied 100% complete absolutely frikkin' beautiful Grand Maximus back in 1997 for $600. I'd jump on that price so fast today if I could find one for that cheap in that condition. One day Grand Max will be mine!!!

The Orlando Downtown Disney store had an abundance of re-issue/Commemorative series G1 figures, and my mom (who works at Disney) had a discount so I could have gotten Optimus, Starscream, and Jazz for a pretty good price.

Armada Unicron for sure.
Anyone at the age group where when all these toys came out you didn't have the money to get them, and now that you've started working they couldn't be bought for money? Could've bought the original Kenner Star Wars figures for a paltry SGD$2.50, original Masters of the Universe for SGD$6.50 to 8.50 each...

I honestly can not think of any.
I tend to buy on sight in order to avoid that feeling...
(It's a strategy, not necessarily the best strategy mind you...)

I regret not gettin Depthcharge, Rail Racer from RiD, Energon Wingsaber and Energon Superion. Although all but Depthcharge I didn't get simply because Uk never saw their release.
I missed on Depthcharge because of bad timing. I've regretted it since

Energon Towline. I should have bought two and repainted them myself if I knew Hasbro was going to pull that BotCon crap on us. Grrr!

Not picking up what i remember to be G1 Devastator or Skyfire (Jetfire) back in the 80's when i saw them in the toy store...
...But come on I was like 4 then and my parents wouldnt get them for me.
Lately I passed on Leader Megatron like 6 times thinking he would be shelf warming and now that I decided to get him... I see him nowhere!

I forgot to mention Classics Ramjet. My buddy TheTouch said he'd buy him for me (since he owes me some money), but he never got around to it, and now Rammy's gone....

I regret not getting most of the CYBERTRON line.
I regret not getting G1 Sideswipe, Megatron, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Prowl, Silverstreak(Bluestreak), and not completing my Constructicons so I could have Devastator.
I regret not buying Alternators Prowl, Sunstreaker, Jazz(Meister), Optimus Prime, Hound, and Silverstreak.

Alternators Swerve.
in hand, with cash,
TWICE in a week.
If I see him twice in one week, he will be a shelf warmer, right!?
WRONG A-HOLE.
Now he's the only Alt. I don't have.
I suck.
