Tonkanator's right leg having stability issues

Weapon: Light-Saber Sword

So I got Tonkanator a while back as a possible substitute for a G2 Devastator, and while it stays together for the most part, the Autobot version of Scrapper can't stay attached in leg mode likely due to the connection system either not being good at keeping everything stable or mold degradation being an issue. Is this a widespread issue with Tonkanators, or was it a problem with Scrapper in general?
