Has anyone heard any news on a possible reissue of the Dinobots by either Takara or Hasbro? I figured Takara would have by now considering they released the freakin' Insecticons. I bought the classics Grimlock but it's just not the same. It would be great if the original G! version was available as well as the rest of the team.

na man to y knowledge there not going to. Hey is the reissue series over or not cause i don't think they've made any more recently have they?

Nope, no idea. We dont even know if we're gonna get anymore reissues (apart from Soundwave in the US and the few reissues avaialble in the UK, which are already out, and Takara's re-reissue of Megs in Japan) let alone who would be reissued next. Offcially both Hasbro's and Takara's reissue lines are on hiatus I think.

I heard they lost the Dinobot molds. I guess they could always reverse mold it or make a new one with computers, but it's like the combiners. Why spend so much money making them and charging so much money, when a Japanese kid can go buy the same item as a knock off for a small fraction of the price? That's why there's no love for Grimmy&Co. :sad:

As far as I know, they have the swoop mould. But as for the other four, I thought they were all damaged.

An example of the swoop mould being used is the recent surfacing of the KO Swoops on eBay.

Becareful with your last sentence. They are not using Takara's mold for the KO, they made their own.

TFC 21 Blaster? not up to date so i might be wrong. (i don't count the re-release of TFC megs)

ebay just got bombarded with a lot of fake swoops, there had been just 1 the past 2 days since the other one i made a thread about... http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dl ... category0= ... look towards the bottom of the page before the ebay stores items, and you will see 4 of them... and also there is now a prototype/test shot, ..interesting..

oh for the love of god please don't use gold plastic! just paint over white plastic with the same paint they use on the lucky draw figures. Gold plastic cracks like no other, seriously... gold plastic = bad. very very very bad. :-(

ya gold plastic is terrible, but gold paint makes me smile. I love Lucky Draw figures, like SL-Omega Supreme or Megalo Convoy. Just so damn great looking.

My guess is that Takara will wait until the Movie line is complete before reissuing the Dinobots.
