i notice something on mp- prime...

on the front cover of both mp-01 and mp-04 boxes, the grill area of prime was painted entire in chrome. but the actual figure has a bit of red.

goddamnit, don't be a pain in the ass.. if you notice it's chrom it's because it's the hinges for the grill.
they might have airbrushed in for the front, same as on mp-02

umm, obviously none of you have read the hundreds of posts and threads started by this fella about said mp-01 & mp-04.
i think he's started 3 in the past day week, after countless, countless others. and many people including myself have answered every single question nicely and continuously each time.
case in point:
the thread he JUST started about chrom on the mp-04, this particullar thared could have been put in that one as a post.
understand?

im pretty sure a mod told alertron to keep all his problems and thoughts of mp 04 on one thread. i usually dont complain about things like this but it is starting to get annoying seeing all these mp-04 threads.... especially when theyre bumping down the other threads.

perhaps you should do the same...

in regards to your question. The hinge was more than likely painted at the same time as the torso and then the grill(which was chromed) was added If you find that the tiny lil piece of red is so distracting that it makes the figure less appealing...chrome paint is cheap.

I do think he went about it the wrong way, but his point was sound, a point you seem to be missing.

Nothing offensive intended, but it's funny you should catch something like that, but still call it MP-01.

It says in very large print MP-1. I've made the same mistake before, I guess we're all a little overly optimistic that this line will run in the double digits? :P

On a message board? No such thing. You are subject to the laws and regulations set down by the staff and moderators of said board. By clicking agree when you signed up you agree to abide by them. Despite reading them or not.

Also if a mod has already told you to stop creating new threads about the same old subject it would be wise of you to stop before they take additional measures.

freedom of expression is free to restriction under certain scenarios by a governing body...i.e the mods. Clearly multiple members have found such posts disruptive, and for this reason you have been asked, by a moderator, to keep the posts limited to a single thread.(for the record i couldn't care less what topics you have posted)

you want to talk about mp-5 ok lets talk about him, hell we could even talk about the upcomming mp-6 if you want. Lets just try to minimize the clutter by minimizing the # of threads.

In before the mod-lock...

Okay, here's the deal, the hinge is plain old red plastic because, drum roll... Chrome wears! And in areas that are subject to movement and rubbing, say a face surface of a hinge that will be overlapped by a mock-grill/six pack door, that chrome wear takes place rather quickly.

I realize that Takara and Hasbro have deprived you of yet another thread to start by making this modification but hey, you get a better figure in the long run for it.

Besides, I'm sure written somewhere in that series of funny characters the Japanese called a language theres a disclaimer that appears on everything we get stateside as well: "Actual product may very from images shown..."

Please, please, please move on to another Figure. Prime is great but Magnus is cool too, and hey his box reads "More than meets teh eye."
