Uh Oh!! A girl with a Transformer.
I have the 20th anniversary Optimus Prime from Hasbro and am trying to put it on Ebay because hubby would rather have the masterpiece ones, but I can't figure out how to change the darn thing back to a truck and I did check the hasbro site and they have visual instructions but I can't get some pieces to move that they say should move. We also don't have the box and the gun is missing. Could anyone tell me how to transform the thing?
Thank you!
Thank you!

Well... why can't your husband just do it?
Meh, I c&p'd these instructions if they're of any help. Convoy = Optimus Prime
1. Slide each hand into the lower arm by properly positioning the fingers (thumb pointing down, four remaining fingers curled in) and swinging the panel on the underside of the arm down, then pulling it to bring the hand in, then locking the panel back into place.
2. Turn the upper body around so it is facing the opposite direction.
3. Press the lower portion of each fuel tank on the sides of the legs and slide the lower legs up.
4. Swing up the middle portion of each foot and then swing the heels up.
5. Rotate each foot around and point the toes back, then swing down the middle portion of the foot to flatten the area out.
6. Here you have two options. You connect the two legs together, but you can either swing up the silver hole (for the trailer) in the center, or leave it down.
7. On Convoy's back, separate the two panels linked at the center.
8. On the front of the upper body, open up the chest panels and flip up the grill.
9. Swing the lower body back.
10. On each side of Convoy's upper body are silver sections that run through the middle of the body. Fold them down to the sides.
11. Rotate these sections so the headlights of the truck mode are facing front.
12. Flip up the panel that guards the Matrix and rotate it around.
13. Pull that panel out and the Matrix chamber will come loose.
14. Rotate the rectangular section that the Matrix is held in down, turning the left side (facing you) down.
15. Swing the entire Matrix chamber section down and you'll see the panel that protected the Matrix is the front bumper and grill section of the truck. Attach it to the lower part of the headlight panels.
16. Open up the "back pack" panel.
17. Swing Convoy's antennae back, and then flip the entire head section so the head winds up inside the chest.
18. Inside the chest, flip the seat for the driver up.
19. Swing the lower arms up, then swing the shoulder/upper arm sections back. Then swing the lower arms forward.
20. On top of each front tire is a panel, swing that back.
21. Close the chest compartment doors.

LOL...he can't figure it out either. He says just put it on as is, but I'd like to at least send directions with the thing. It's been ready to display so he's never changed it.

Great thanks! I did do a search but all I found was Hasbro. Do you mind if I print those out to send with OP?

Sure, but you might want to change all instances of "Convoy" to "Optimus".
Also, I'd suggest getting permission from Ben of bwtf.com. He's the guy who wrote it.

Just so you know Masterpiece Prime and 20th Anniversary Prime are basically the same thing. Masterpiece has a better paint job, chrome, and longer smokestacks, but the basic figure and thus the transformation is the same.
Or does he want one of the other Available Masterpieces Starscream or Megatron?
