Where is your best hiding spots for tf figures in walmart?

Since most of us dont shop at the same walmart i think its safe to tell us where you like to hide toys to buy them later. My spot is pretty much anywhere in the gardening section or the pet area..

Hide them in drawers?! BRILLIANT!

I usually stuff mine away in sporting goods or housewares (microwaves, unlike drawers, do not provide good cover)
TFWIKI wrote:According to Hasbro, toys that represent flying characters are given more stringent drop tests and rounded/collapsible bits, as children (and the kind of adults who buy Transformers, actually) are more prone to throwing these figures around or ramming them into things (or people).

I don't understand why people would hide the toys?

The only thing I can think of is that maybe you are out of dough for the day??

^Pretty much.

While not a Yank, and so having no access to Walmart, I still hide toys in TRU.

Either behind crap that never moves, ie the Superman stuff next to the tf stuff, or I climb on top of the shelves and wedge em between the two massive shelving units that make up one of the many aisles' walls.

Nobody ever looks there 8)

They couldn't care less.

Whose the asshat? The person who hides ONE of a figure they really want and fully intend to buy ASAP, or the guy who buys all of those figures/ hides them all so they can scalp em later.

In the toy aisles, there's no time for manners. All is fair in love and tf collecting.

i've never hidden toys to buy them later, once i found a voyager movie megatron and didnt have enough money, i called my friend and waited like 10 minutes for him to show up with the moolah, and today at TRU when i found Primus i didnt have enough money on me, so i just told the cashier if she could hold it for me while i went to get my money, but i see nothing wrong with hiding them if ur going to return for them, i dont know why people get mad at that, maybe someone left their money at home or forgot how much they really had in their wallet, as long as they picked it up from the shelve they pretty much got to it first and should have the right to hide it. and if i had to hide a tf at walmart i would go to the baby department and when no one was looking slide under one of the cribs.

This line has always bothered me. And made me want to smash things.

Sometimes people actually go to Wal-Mart for the groceries, not the general merchandise. So they only allot a certain amount of money, just for that.

People end up wandering around the store to different departments, and find other things to buy, but didn't bring more money than they needed to.

Some people are truly broke, others didn't have enough foresight to bring more, but in general it's a matter of just not thinking it through.

It's like saying "You're a smoker, what right do you have to be breathing air if you're clogging your lungs, willingly?"

It's called keeping tabs. When we don't have money with us and find something we want, we're gonna make sure nobody else gets it till we come back for it.
