Good find, enough pics and even a brief description of the main players, especially for those who missed SDCC.

Some of those I just CANNOT fathom how they transform, there seems to be bits of the alt modes that have utterly disapeared. This means that there is either a lot of loose kibble to lose, or these are some impresivly well designed tfs!
(Im hoping and believing the second option.)
Im still not sold on the cartoon or (some of) the heads, but I've liked the look of most of the toys (and when shown in the correct colours, that Megatron that has surfaced on another thread actully looks quite good too).

The cartoon, I'm yet to be sold on. As soon as they showed pictures of the toys at Botcon, despite being extremely hungover, I was very impressed. I love that they actually are incorporating the face shields. That option alone is a major plus to me. Especially for Prime and Bumblebee. Their faces are fine, I just like the shields better.

I don't like Bumblebees head. Not at all.
I loathe the look for Soundwave and I think the guitar is pretty stupid.
I'm not crazy about Prowl being a motorcycle but he does look pretty cool.
The Dinobots looks decent enough.
Of those pictures my favorite is Starscream.

I think he's pretty neat looking too. There's really only one or two desings we've seen for the toys so far that I don't care for.

Is it just me, or does Grimlock transform just like the G1 verision? Tail folded in half on legs, dino head and arms flip back, dino legs become bot arms?
Nice little homage there.

They all look fantastic. Soundwave looks cool, but that vehicle design would be more fitting for a different character. Who knows ... it may grow on me, but it would make an excellent Trailbreaker.
BB's face shield looks cool, but his "open" face doesn't represent his personality very well.
When does the series premier? What channel will it air on? I may have to get Tivo just for it. If anyone knows of a thread with buku info on this coming series, please list it here so I can begin the drooling process.

It would be a little more ideal if his alt mode came pimped out with an "MTX Jackhammer." Google it. It would make quite a nice shoulder cannon as well.
That thing just OOZES transformers

Cartoon Network I belive, hopefully it'll mean a better audience for transformers in this country, cuase the channel will be trying to pedal the show, which in turn will hopefully increase demand of the toys which in turn will hopefully mean we dont get screwed on toys for a change. It's been a while since any chanal could give a crap about tfs in this country.

prime without the faceplate is horrible but the toy looks meh. the prototype actually looks better than the colored one. bumblebee looks like a freaking cat or something. prowl is not prowl. soundwave just looks flat out corny with that stupid guitar and starscream looks pretty cool except for, again, a horrible face. also i've concluded that we will never see an even remotely decent megs anymore. especially if they keep copying the movie designs.

it has always been a point of slight annoyance to me that there is no consitency with megs, I dunno why but there never has been, and it is this fact that I blame for the often increadly veriable quality of Megatron toys over the last 10 years or so. The 'earth' Megs (or at least his cartoon version) looks rather cool, and the coloured version of the cyb one dosnt look bad. Compaired to the movie, cybertron and rid, he hasnt done too badly in this line.

I get the feeling I'll be picking up a lot of these for Mini-collider. Personally I really like Bumblebee (despite the cat-like look), Soundwave & Grimlock.

I'm sold. I can't wait for these to be released. I love the the Cybertron version of Megatron looks. I like they kept the movie aesthetic where the Earth and Cybertron modes look really different. And hopefully we get the Earth version as well, I love how he looks like Super Megatron.
